Default disappearing little rash spots / areas

I have over the last month or so from time to time got little rash spots on my wrist and up my arm (particularly the forearm). They are not bumpy just flat. Sometimes they are there in the morning and then fade to nothing in a few hours.

Do you have any idea what this could be as it worries me as I do not get rashes before this date.

They are a sort or red/purplish colour. I also bruise quite easily and I am wondering whether they are connected in any way.

I am wondering whether it could be stress related as I suffer from anxiety particularly anxiety connected with me thinking I am ill all the time.

Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Hi, there!
It is quite difficult to give you proper advice without actually seeing the symptoms. If you bruise quite easily, and you are not taking regular aspirin, anti-inflammatories or any other medication, I believe you need to have a blood test in order to check your clotting, as the rash you are describing might be related.
Best wishes,
Jose

Hi Dr Jose.

Thanks for your response. What do you mean by my 'clotting?' You don't think it could be anything serious do you? - I have a tendency to be a bit of a hypochondriac and constantly worry about my health.

I am not getting it any more at the moment but I will make an appointment for a test.

It is not related to HIV is it?

Kind regards

It is certainly not linked to HIV. With clotting, I meant coagulation tests (platelets, clotting time, prothrombin time, fibrinogen, etc.). It is usually nothing serious, but if it persists, one would need to know why.
Best wishes,
Jose
