Default Inflamed throat

Hello doctors my throat is all inflamed, Im taking some tablets that i got from the doctor but i only have two days left of treatment but i cannot see any difference within my mouth. Will they work? Also is it normal for the lymph glands to be enlarged with an inflamed mouth and tonsils?

PS: My throat isnt sore

Hello, there!
Your mouth and throat are inflammed, but not sore or painful? It is difficult ot give you advice without having a look at it. If symptoms persist in spite of the antibiotics, you obviously need to go back to your doctor, possibly get a mouth/throat swab, as well as some blood tests in order to find out the cause.
Best wishes,
Jose

Default Dr Jose - Throat

Hey doctor jose thanks for your reply, The anti-biotics seem to be helping, the roof of my mouth looks excellent! It's still red at the back but the roof is more or less back to it's normal healthy colour. I have one more tablet today and then three more to take tomorrow then i have finished the course. Why was you surprised to hear that my throat was not sore? The doctor who examined me was surprised too, I could see when he reacted! The lymph glands in my neck seem to be really smaller too, I can hardly feel them now!

Once i have finished the anti-biotics, Should my mouth continue to get better or will it inflame again?

Thanks once again for your time

Well, because when you have an infection in the throat or in the mouth with inflammation, there is usually some pain and soreness. The fact that your symptoms have improved, that is a very good sign and nothing to worry about. SYmptoms should go and not recurred.
Best wishes,
Jose
