Default Did something really stupid last night, need advice

Hi there,

I did something really stupid last night and that was after quite a heavy night out I was egged on by people I was out with who had previously been before too visit a massage parlor and out of curiosity I did so. Sober of course there would have been no chance of me even considering to even do such a thing! So that adds more to the humiliation..

Anyhow I went in and had protected oral and sex with the girl who to me looked perfectly healthy and I didn't notice anything unusual. I however gave unprotected oral to her and this is whats running through my mind how foolish I've been and the risks I have put myself at.

I'm really concerned and feel extremely ashamed and disappointed with myself, and I'm seeking some advice for peace of mind as Ive got myself really quite worked up about this.

Many thanks

Hello

I think you're ok. I certainly do not think you are at risk of HIV which is what you are concerned about probably.

I think you should wait about 5 days or so and then visit a clinic somewhere and have an oral swab for chlamydia and gonorrhoea as these are the leading suspects in this case.

As I say, I do not believe HIV is a risk but if you remain concerned then you should test using an HIV DUO test at 28 days. You will not be HIV positive from this episode.

Best wishes and calm down, Sean
