Default Fingering confused?

Hi

my partner was fingering me, then i went to the bathroom, when i came back he was messing down below with himself on the bed fingering himself, then we just began to mutually masterbate with one an other - a few mins after he began to finger me, I'm concerned now because when i came back from the bathroom he was fingering, so he fingered me using the same finger, would i be at any risk of HIV?
thanks

hi
im confused with your response my partner was male. and I'm male, you say i should NOT be concerned about HIV with this episode, then you said there is almost no risk of hiv transmission?
(so is there a risk or is there NO risk?)

how long does the virus stay alive in the open air etc,

you then said -
HIV the virus does not last long off the body and so the roundabout way of transmission you describe would be very very unlikely. (how unlikely and in your opinion do i need to be tested for HIV for this episode)

Many guys worry about HIV when they don't need to and many HIV tests are done not because there is any risk, but because it helps to reassure. I personnally don't think you need to test for this episode - you do need to test for chalmydia and gonorrhoea - but if you contuine to be concerned then a test will reassure you that you are fine.

I hope this help

Dr Alex
hi so if your saying there is virtually NO risk at all through this episode, you are saying i don't need to test, then you say no doctor will ever say zero to anything, which i understand that, you are saying virtually zero, but not zero (more confused)

(i just want to know i.e. have i been but at RISK? or i haven't been put at risk?)

(and in your doctors opinion do i need to have an HIV test, ?? with this fingering episode i understand that there is many posts on this forum about fingering been completely safe, which i understand normal fingering is safe because its not come into any other bodily fluids etc- but this was different as the guy was fingering himself then he fingered me after and you say the anal secretions can carry the hiv virus, so i assume then when he has taken his finger out of his butt, if there was any hiv virus it would die in the air? and it would not infect me this way is this correct?)

i understand about testing for the other stds which i will have done

thanks again

Hi you say that no doctor will ever say zero, but you say virtually zero

You said that you don't think I've been but at risk and do not need a test

But you say anal secretions contain the virus? So shouldn't I be concerned about this then
Or what? I'm still confused

Default Fingering confused

Hi I have post several posts now and have had no response from my last post
I hope that you can kindly reply as I'm still confused with the answer

You mentioned that my risk is practical zero but you say no doctor will say zero you say virtually zero
And in your opinion it's not worth testing

But then you said anal secretions can carry the virus so if this is the case can't there be cross cantamination therefore there would be a risk right? If the anal secretions are on his finger and his finger enters my anus surly then there's a risk of HIV ?

Hope you can clear the confusion up thanks

Hello

Alex has already responded and said that you are not at risk.

You will not acquire HIV from what you have described.

If you are still anxious or concerned then clearly having an HIV test will help you resolve that.

Best wishes, Sean
