I am new to this forum please can you help in answering some questions.
i have had 3 test done so far which have come back NEG, Two of those test was the INSTI and DUO test 9 to 10 months after exposure which came out NEG
my question is, would both the test at this time period be accurate? also what are the chances of a false negative result ( One year or even 9 to 10 months after exposure?
Also my exposure was oral sex with a guy there was some cum which i spat out right away then rinsed my mouth with juice. i am a girl living in the UK. there was no other sexual contact.
and my last question is, do you think i would need to test again? or can i now just move on??
hello,
Thank you for your post and welcome to our forum.
Your risk was extremely low in the first place.
In any case, your negative test results are final and fully conclusive. You are definitely HIV negative and you do not need to be re-tested.
Best wishes,
José
