Default Just a bit of reassurance hopefully

Hi Docs

Before i start i would like to say i love this forum, it has helped me a lot, so now i've decided to post.

my situation i hope you dont find it too silly. what happened is that about over a month a go, i went to a sex shop and bought a dildo and a sex doll. i went to the shop with my friend and i took a vaginal speculum which was mine and had never been used ever just held. anyway at the sex shop the guy at the shop took out the doll and opened the vagina and put his finger i think around the rim, he also grabbed the speculum off me to look at it. i'm 85-89% sure his finger wasn't bleeding (i dont really remember seeing blood). anyway i went back home, blew it up and inserted the speculum and the dildo into the doll and then took it out. anyway i went away and returned 4 days later and embarrassingly had my way with the doll.

i became rather worried i may have caught something like HIV from this which according to my rational side seems rather far fetched however i still had this nagging worry in the back of my head.

i went for a duo test at 30-31 days which came back negative. however when reading on the net after my result i had read that Hep C can lead to risk in abnormal Hiv Duo test. i know that in2009 when i had my last hep c test it was negative. i have not shared needles and have not been to any barbers where i kno they do no use new razors nor have i had any unprotected sex since then.

i know that my msg was a bit long/complicated/funny to read. ive tried to read some of the literature online about hep c transmission, however am not fully 100% understanding and so would like to ask you if:

there could have been any risk of Hep C transmission from this incidence?

if there had been is there any chance my duo test is wrong?

if not then is the duo test conclusive at 30-31 days and can i move on?

what anxiety therapies do you reckon i should go and look for regarding this HIV anxiety i may have?

thank you for reading this, the reassurance from you would mean alot. i know you must be busy and so i really appreciate your time

Hello Lotus,
Thank you for your post.
It is impossible that you could contract any blood borne viral infection that way. No risk of HIV and no risk of Hepatitis B or C. To put yourself at risk you need to have sex with a living person and not with a doll!! After all it is just a doll!!
These viruses do not survive on inert objects.
Therefore there was no need for you to be tested.
Forget about it!
Best wishes,
José
