Default please help

Hi, ive become quite anxious today at work. Work in yorkshire and recently a new bloke has joined the team (roofing) and hes from a rough background, hes talked about going to brothels in leeds every weekend etc, so a pretty risky guy. Anyway today working with wood we always get splinters, he asked me to pull a splinter out of the end of his finger, which had some fresh blood around the edges, (and stupidly) i did, i put my finger tips over his little cut which got some of the blood on my finger (tiny amount), what im most worried about is that there a fresh little cuts all over my fingers and on that certain one. Ive talked to to other lads at work and they say dont worry, but im just not sure. Can hiv, hep b c be passed on to me? Should i test??

Hello and thank you for posting.

Should you test? - no - provided you are telling me the truth and this is the entirety of the risk.

You are not at risk of HIV, HEPC or anything else from this. Don't be silly. My partner used to be a roofer and he says he was forever cutting himself, falling off things etc and he remains as fit as a flea without any blood borne viruses.

Now relax and have a look at one of my favourite video's

best regards, Sean
