Possible HIV & STI exposure - Kissing Nipples, Masturbation with vaginal fluid
Hi Doctors,
I am a male. Sorry for the long post. I know this question may be repeated many times but I am in real worry with the encounter I had.
I went to a strip club in US two weeks ago and had a lap dance with a dancer. She was complete nude. I massaged her breasts and kissed/licked her nipples. Though I did not feel any blood or fluid in her nipple, I am not sure. But I had a minor bruise/herpes in my mouth. She was sitting over my pant and I buttoned off my pant to masturbate myself. I do not know whether my hand would have come incontact with vaginal fluid from pant (in case). I was masturbating myself and she was masturbating herself. During the course, for a brief period of 2-3 seconds, she touched my penis head with her hand. I did not feel anything wet from her touch but since she was also masturbating there could be a chance that her vaginal fluid would have contacted with penis. I come very quickly 15-20 secs, she offered me a tissue paper and I cleaned only over urethra opening and immediately left. Tissue paper could also had vaginal fluids because I received it from her. After I went home I did not take clean my genitals and took bath only the next day.
My questions are below:
1. Is it possible to get HIV and other STI (Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia, warts) from kissing/licking nipples considering it had some fluids (blood or other fluids). She was not lactating though.
2. Is it possible to get HIV and other STI (Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia, warts) when a touch of her hand with vaginal fluid come in contact with my penis.
3. Were there any reported cases of HIV with the above exposure that I had?
4. Was there any risk to Hepatitis?
5. How long I have to wait before I take test for HIV and other STI?
After 10 days of exposure, I noticed There was a small lymph node over my neck which mostly happened because I was scratching there rashly due to itching. Also I noticed in one instance that my penis head was having some thread like discharge not sure what is this. Also I noticed in one instance there was a semi whitish fluid. After I cleaned my penis those things did not occur again. But this worries me a lot.
I read HIV is very difficult to transmit with the above exposure but I am worried very much. Also I would like to know the risks of other STI with the above exposure. One thing that eases my mind is after masturbation I tried to massage her again but she refused which I think is a safe sex practice. So she should be knowing what safe sex is. But I am terribly worried now. Need your advice on this.
Possible HIV & STI exposure - Kissing Nipples, Masturbation with vaginal fluid
Good Morning, thank you for the question, I have repeated the main points beneath and have placed my answers next to them.
My questions are below:
1. Is it possible to get HIV and other STI (Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia, warts) from kissing/licking nipples considering it had some fluids (blood or other fluids). She was not lactating though. No, you will not acquire any STD's or HIV through this route
2. Is it possible to get HIV and other STI (Gonorrhea, Syphilis, Chlamydia, warts) when a touch of her hand with vaginal fluid come in contact with my penis.Assuming there was wet vaginal fluid and assuming also that the lady actually had an STD then I can see that there is a theoretical risk of acquiring a bacterial STD. You will not acquire HIV this way. Although I have agreed that there is a theoretical risk, I do not believe in reality that this presents any form of actual risk and I would dismiss it
3. Were there any reported cases of HIV with the above exposure that I had?
no
4. Was there any risk to Hepatitis? no
5. How long I have to wait before I take test for HIV and other STI? minimum interval here for testing for HIV, HEPATITIS B and Hepatitis C is 10 days using a multiplex early detection HIV PCR screen. Using other standard tests you can use an HIV DUO test at 28 days and a syphilis and hepatitis B antigen test at 28 days. You can test for other STD's such as chlamydia and gonorrohea at 10 days along with the multiplex. That said, I do not believe there is a realistic or tangible STD threat to you

I read HIV is very difficult to transmit with the above exposure I would say impossiblebut I am worried very much. Also I would like to know the risks of other STI with the above exposure. As mentioned above, the risk of HIV is more theoretical than real. Therefore I would not see a reason why you should not be able to donate blood. However if you are planning to get tested, it might be worth waiting until you have the fresult, which will be negative.
Best wishes,
José
