Default Questions

Dear Doctors,

I have couple questions to see the risk of HIV:

1. I did vaginal sex with an escort, I used a condom for penetration, but then got a little soft inside. I took it out, saw that the condom was still covering everywhere, just seemed a little "loose". Then the girl did blow job with this condom, then took off the condom and continued the blow job.

2. In a massage parlor, a girl used her pussy to rub my balls (not the top of my penis), when she was turning over on me, there might have a contact between the top of my penis and her pussy (must be less than one second, if there was indeed a contact). Only a hand job was provided in this case.

In addition to those, I also had many other times with escorts in the last several months (condom for vaginal sex, and received blow job without condom, condom never broke and slipped). Now I have stopped these stupid things. But after 3 weeks of the last activity, I got sore throat and then a little fever and cold, but got recovered after 1-2 days. Then felt a little tired and a little dry throat (maybe because the weather is dry now?).

So doctors, I have stopped my stupid activities, but really want to know can I move on? Or should I get tested for HIV? I am actually scared to go and get tested, so please advise.

Many thanks.

hello,
Thank you very much for your post and welcome to our forum.
None of the sexual activities described in your post would involve any risk of HIV at all whatosever. Therefore there is no need to worry about HIV and there is no need to test. However you would need to test for other STIs, mainly conditions like Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea, as you might have contracted one of these as they do not always give symptoms. Your flu like symptoms have nothing to do with HIV and I am sure that are just realted to a simple cold.
Best wishes,
José
