hello there. My partner has a rash that goes down her neck and just above the jaw line. Its slightly itchy and red and is small bumps. She had the same rash same place this time last year. Last september i had unprotected sex with someone other than my partner. Since then i had a duo test at 35 days, 5 months, 8 months and a year. Antibody at local gum clinic at 10 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, 24 weeks, 28 weeks, and duo done privately at 1 year and also antibody at gp office All negative. Syphilis igg/igm at 5 weeks, antibody at 10 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks and 28 weeks all done at local gum apart from the 5 week one was private. This is what leads me to think the rash cant be related to hiv or syphilis but what do you the expert think. Do i need to test again? What could the rash be? Also i kept coming up in a rash on the sides of my torso it was pinpoint red and purple dots that always faded within a few hours and seemed to only come when i got hot. Could this be a form of heat rash cos it happens only when i get hot. The dots did blanch on pressure. Faded. Your opinion would be much appreciated. Thanoffice

thanks for your response. I went to the doctor regards my rash but like i say it does seem to only come when i get hot so i assume it is a form of heat rash? My partner hasnt been to the doctors but it is starting to clear now and the redness was mainly after washing. Was just strange really it happened same place same time of year 2 years running. I appreciate that you cant comment though. Thanks again
