Hi Doctor, 2 weeks ago on a trip to spain i slept with a female sex worker. It was in a brothel and she was south american. I used a condom, with lube, during both vaginal and anal sex. I was drunk and did not come. Afterwards she chanded the condom for a new one and performed oral sex on me. During the oral sex she fingered me analy, using lube, after she had stopped i noticed she had a condom over her fingers. My fear is that IF it was the same condom i used on her then wouldn't her body fluids have been on it and i put myself at risk?? I've got myself into a state with worry. Even if that was the case, I do not believe that that would pose any risk of HIV infection. The most it could cause would be anal Chlamydia or Gonorrhoea, which you can have tested with an anal swab. I honestly do not think that you need to worry about HIV as it would be very difficult for the virus to infect that way, and it dies very quickly oustide the body; you would also need a large amount of vaginal fluid with a high viral load, as well as an open wound on the anal mucosa, and that would not be caused by fingering.
