You advised me to get checked for all 'routine STD's' -
Question 1. Is HIV a routine STD?
You also advised me to get innoculated against hepatitis A and B
Question 2 . How much will all of this cost at your clinic and how quickly can I arrange an appointment for please?

I am a male who approximately 28 days ago went to a gay sauna (never been before) . Met A guy he kissed me (very deep tongue) and he fingered my rear with lube with his whole finger while playing with himself. He did try to insert his penis into me - but I did not let it happen.
2 days after this exposure I felt I had a sore throat, this sore throat lasted one week and seemed to be clearing up but then the soreness came back again. The following week I developed a white coating (thrush on my throat) this throat.I also felt low grade fever for a few days.
Two complete weeks after exposure I went to my GP to show him the sore throat and oral thrush - he said it was thrush but that the sore throat should clear up with gargles . He said i could take penicillin if it didnt - he prescribed it - but i never took it
The white coating on my tongue and sore throat have remained exactly the same for the last 4 weeks. I also have constipation for one week and a cough that comes and goes.

HIV a routine STD - yes, in my book. We know that men who have sex with other males are at increased risk of HIV. We also know that early intervention 1) saves their lives and prevents illness and 2) helps limit the spread of HIV to others so its important to include it.
