Cool Sex encounter with an Escort in NYC

Hi Doctors,
I am worried of being infected with HIV, here is the situation.
2 weeks ago I had sex with an escort in New York, she was from Poland. I had oral and vaginal sex in both actions I was using the same condom. Also we kissed, what I am worried about is that 6 days before having sex with this lady I removed two of my wisdom teeth. Is there a chance of catching HIV from kissing this lady given my teeth extraction situation? Of course I don’t know if she is HIV positive or if she is clean.
It is worth to mention that I did not face any major symptoms; however, I have been getting some sort of tingling/itching feeling in different parts of my body but no rash or red spots. Could that be a result of being so worried about that encounter or anxiety?
Lastly I will be visiting your clinic in 2 weeks time to get a duo test done, but in the mean while I wanted to know your opinion on the situation.
Many thanks

Hello,
Thank you very much for your post.
Your sexual encounter, as described, did not involve any risk at all of HIV infection. Therefore you need to try to relax and not to worry, as I am convinced that all those symptoms that you have been experiencing are related to stress and anxiety abou tthe whole thing. Both oral and penetrative vagina were safe as you used a condom and this remained intact and in place. There is absolutely no risk at all form kissing, even if she was positvie and even after having had recent tooth extractions. Saliva does not carry the virus; saliva actually neutralises the virus. Kissing is safe!!
Best wishes,
José

Thank you for your reply,
Today I noticed around five brown color spots on my lower back, could that be a sign? It is not itchy and doesn't look like a rash, should I be worried about this?

Thanks

Not at all, as they would not be a typical symptoms of acute sero-conversion.
Best,
José
