Default Sex worker

Hi there,

I have stupidly had sex with a sex worker and am anxious
About HIV. I used a condom and I tested it under a tap afterwards
and there were no leaks. However, I still can't get the idea out of my head
that I will get HIV.

Please help me.

Will.

Dear Will,
If the condom was intact and remained in place throughout the sexual intercourse, that is safe and you cannot become infected with HIV, even if the lady was positive. There is no need for you to worry and certainly no need for you to get tested.
Best wishes,
José

Hi Jose,

Thanks for your reply. It was a durex condom and as I say
I put it under a tap afterwards and there were no leaks. I am still worried
because there seemed to be a white line on the condom, I don't know whether this would be from lubricant/spermicide or marks from the production line. Does this change your view?

Will.

Default Sex worker and HIV

Good Morning Will

Thanks for your post.

I think from the general detail given you will be absolutely fine.

I'm sorry though, I don't know what the white line is. Most probably a manufacturing artefact.

Relax, it will all be ok I'm sure.

very best wishes, Sean
