Default 4th Gen Test 6 Week for Protected Sex CSW

Halo Dr Jose & Dr Cummings

Several days ago i have posted in medhelp answered by Dr Jose http://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV---I...e/show/1776839

Firstly thanks for your assurance i am huge fan of you and Dr Cummings. In the thread i mention that :
- Having protected oral and vaginal sex with CSW In INDONESIA (Condom intake), ejaculate inside until penis loose erection still inside vagina. Confirmed by Dr Jose that no risk associated even penis loose erection inside Vagina
- Been tested twice. 3rd Gen test 2nd week (negative) and 4th Gen AB/AG Combo 6 week 2 day (Abbott Architect) also negative : In the thread test considered conclusive and reliable

However i still can get back to my life (Really sorry for my anxiety). Today i'm taking another 4th Gen test AB/AG Combo 9 week (Abbott Architect again). I Promise if this negative i will move on because im doing this after scared reading on internet (Some publisher said there are false negative 2 or 3 ocassion on 4th gen test).

My Questiion as follow :
- Do you still believe previous 6 week test still conclusive ? Is it considered conclusive because my original unrisk behaviour (Using condom till end) even have loose erection inside vagina?
- Do you expect that the 9 week test will be negative as well? I am really scared having false positive in latest test. If positive result shows (really hope not) do you advice take another test for confirmation no false positive occur?
- Do you have any data about false negative and turning positive with test on 6 week Abbott Architect AB/AG Combo?
- Is it matter who is taking the test? I mean in Indonesia, can you imagine when i am asking receptionist in lab here even she said that windows period for 4th gen test 6 YEARS. sigh.

Please help me this time. I only can rely on the doctor like you. Unfortunately the specialist for this matter we need to go like government disease center.

Many thanks for your kindess

Rgds

Default 4th Gen Test 6 Week for Protected Sex CSW

Good Morning - thanks for this post.

You are fine. You are not HIV positive.

You asked these questions:-

Quote:
- Do you still believe previous 6 week test still conclusive ? Is it considered conclusive because my original unrisk behaviour (Using condom till end) even have loose erection inside vagina? Its conclusive because you wore a condom and it stayed on throughout - portecting you entirely from HIV - but also because the 6 week 4th generation HIV test is excellent and will have conclusively established that you are HIV negative
- Do you expect that the 9 week test will be negative as well? I am really scared having false positive in latest test. If positive result shows (really hope not) do you advice take another test for confirmation no false positive occur? your further test will be negative - unless of course you have had a different high risk event in the meantime
- Do you have any data about false negative and turning positive with test on 6 week Abbott Architect AB/AG Combo?no - except as above that if you have a different risk event in the interval then you might have been exposed separately -
- Is it matter who is taking the test? I mean in Indonesia, can you imagine when i am asking receptionist in lab here even she said that windows period for 4th gen test 6 YEARS. well look - thats just silly and clearly she does not know what she is saying - 4th generation HIV tests will give greater than 99.89% accuracy at 4 weeks after an event - at 6 weeks the result will be as good as it gets - you are HIV negative in respect of the event you describesigh.
best wishes, Sean
