Default Advice

Doctors,

I haven't had a test in about a year. Since then, I have had about 5 experiences with transsexual sex workers. Generally speaking each one was pretty safe. With two of them I had sex where I was the insertive partner. I wore condoms and to the best of my knowledge the condoms did not break. With them and the others I also had oral sex whereby I gave oral when they had condoms on and received without. I have not been fucked or received ejaculation in my mouth in this last year. That is a recap of my experiences.

I saw a sign saying 1 in 5 people who have HIV don't know they have it. So now I'm panicking. Should I be tested? Please help.

Sam

Hello Sam,
From the description given of your sexual encounters, I can conclude that there was no risk of HIV infection and therefore there is no need for you to have a test. However it might be a good idea to get a HIV test, if you have never had one done before, for your peace of mind. I am totoally confident that the result will be negative.
Kind regards,
José
