Default Anxious

As a 48 yr old male i had a one night stand unprotected penal vaginal sex.

I have since felt all the symptoms and now have a minor rash on forehead between brows i am in week 5 after contact.

Sadly i have left the country and was not aware of your quick testing facility so i have gone for a 28 day test with NHS and am still awaiting results.

However the girl i was with has been tested with a DUO 4th generation and she is negative.

She said its 28 days because the last time before me she was with someone was 17th May, She was with me 28th May and she got tested on 15th June.

I was tested 3 months ago as negative and have not had multiple partners for many years.

What i don't get is she is negative and yet i am feeling and have felt symptoms. Is it still possible that i can be positive?

Thank you

Hello,
Thank you for your post.
Symptoms are irrelevant. Those symptoms are not specific of HIV sero-conversion; in fact, they are not even typical.
In any case, you had unprotected intercourse with a lady who is HIV negative. Therefore you cannot contract it from her. Your result will be negative.
Best wishes,
José
