Default deep/french kissing

good morning

hope you are fine.

i havce seen your replies saying that kissing is not a risk for HIV.

However, yesterday i visited a sex worker and indulged in some deep/french kissing with her. no other sexual contact took place ( I came quickly!), but around 5, maybe a bit more, mins before she had another client.

Now I am worrying that he may have had unprotected oral sex with her, and ejaculated insider her mouth: if that were the case - though i have no evidence of that - would that pose any risk for me?

thanks in advance for your attention.

Default deep / french kissing

Hello

You are right - kissing does not represent any risk at all of HIV transfer.

Your suggestion regarding a previous client doesn't sound very palatable but it equally does not represent a risk to to you.

Best wishes, Sean

dear dr sean

thanks for your prompt and clear reply.

yes, it is disgusting to think of - i have no proof that it actually occured, but it could have...

sorry for being a pest, but can i kindly ask why it is not a risk? since i gather that there is a small risk in giving unprotected oral sex to someone with mouth ejaculation, wouldn't this be a sort of indirect unprotected oral sex (penis to mouth to mouth)?

if i am talking nonsense please feel free to tell me so!

Hello,
Let me reply to your last question.
It would not pose any risk at all because of the presence of saliva, which neutralises the virus. And the risk of HIV infection for the person performing oral sex with ejaculation in the mouth is negligible anyway in the first place.
No need to worry at all whatsoever.
Best wishes,
Jose
