Does Ab/Ag DUO test 99.8% reliable between 28 days and 90 days after risk?
My message addressed ONLY to Dr Tryer. So, please him to answer me.
Because only he has "MB BCh(Wits) Dip in HIV Medicine" and I trust to him like to nobody else.
Dr Tryer,
As you are an expert in this topic, I just hope for your help. Please.
It's very important for me.
Yep, I know, the question is probably too stupid. But I can't bring my
mind calm
You're are doctor and your knowledge and opinion are totally important
and enough for me. I trust to you as to nobody else.

"From the Freedomhealth point of view, using as described above the
combined knowledge and experience of the team we regard the HIV DUO
test as a conclusive HIV test at 28 days or beyond in almost all
circumstances"
Does it mean, that DUO test will be the same conclusive(or at least
not less conclusive then at 28 days) at 35 days, 40 days, 60 days and
75 days?.(or at any period of time between 28 and, for example 75
days)
I ask , because antigen p24 level becomes lower after 28 days... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...ourse_copy.svg
And this thing makes me worry
And antibodies only begin to produce at 6 weeks(will they be detectable with this test at this timeframe with reliability 99.8%?

What are the Types of HIV Testing?)
May it happen, that DUO test reliable only between 4-6 weeks after risk with 99.8% and then it's not so reliable until 90 days passed?(may it be not 99.8% reliable between 6 weeks (when p24 angigen comes down) and 90 days, when antibodies level is enough to detect with INSTI test)
The second question is
May tachycardia or prolonged stress(2-3 months) affect test results?
HIV > Does Ab/Ag DUO test 99.8% reliable between 28 days and 90 days after risk?
Hello
Unfortunately Mervyn is not available today to answer your question.
In answer to question 1, the HIV DUO test is accurate to 99.89% at 28 days and as time goes on its accuracy will reach 99.99% as with the other HIV tests.
