Hi, my first question is concerning thrush, i have it on my penis and it produces a thick discharge under my foreskin. Dies the white pus caused by thrush have HIV in it? And is it infective?. The reason i ask this is because i got some of the discharge from my thrush onto my fingers and then when i washed my hands with soap in the sink and some of the discharge probably got onto the basin. The basin was then used by a housemate to wash their face, this was a bout 20 seconds after i washed my hands. Would the discharge in the basin remain viable for hiv when the basin was filled with water, or would the water have inactivated the HIV. Cheers.
Hello,
First of all, what you have might not be thrush. It sounds like smegma, which is normal in many men. It does not carry the virus; therefore it is not infectious. However even if it as thrush, the discharge does not carry the virus either. Therefore it would not be infectious from the point of view of HIV. In any case, I do not understand your concern becuase you would need to be HIV in the first place. I believe that you are the same person who has been placing similar posts, which have been irrational and irrelevant. You really need to stop placing such posts; they do not make any sense. I am closing this thread now.
Kind regards,
José
