PCR Test after 21 days.. Advice plzz

Hi Dr,

Thanks in advance. Now I am in US. Two weeks ago I had protected sex with a escort about 2 mins. Gentle kissing involved. After the single episode i verified condom were good. After that incident some of my friends were escorts are mostly infected. This made driving crazy and am running out of mind. Please advise and am i infected hiv.

Do i need to go test?

I planned to take PCR test at 21 days mark. It this accurate?

You used a condom so it does not matter whether she was HIV positive or not.

If you have protected sex - ie use a condom for penetrative vaginal or anal sex and the condom stays on and does not break or rupture - as you have proved, you will not become HIV positive.

Your PCR test will confirm that you are HIV negative.

Now it 23rd day and i don't have any symptoms. I got the results as well:

HIV-1 RNA QN RT PCR Result : <20 NOT DETECTED - Negative
HIV-1 Antibody, HIV - 1/2, EIA With Reflex to Western Blot Result: NON-REACTIVE - Negative

1. Can i move on without any worries about HIV fear?
2. Do I need any further test after 8 or 12 weeks?

No, you do not need any further testing. The results you have are good. You are not HIV positive.
