Hi I had sex with a sex worker the other night. We used a condom during the whole act, however the girl I was with did not put it on correctly. Instead of rolling it on she kind of pulled it on by stretching it a bit and then roll the rest on. However the condom seemed to sit on as It should during the act and I filled it with water after worth and there were no leakage. Should I be concerned? Do I need to get tested to to be sure ?
Hello,
Thank you for your post and welcome to our forum. Provided that the condom remained in place and intact covering the head of your penis, there is no risk to you and there is no need to get a HIV test or any other STD test.
Best wishes,
José
In the scenario that you use the wrong kind of lubricant. For example an oil based one, would this only make the condom more likely to break, or could it deteriorate in some way that would make in unsafe without you noticing it? In other words the condom looking intact and passing "the water test" but still be letting throw virus particles ?
I do understand that this is might be a paranoid question.
Using certain lubricants can make the condom break easier, and therefore these should be avoided. But if the condom remains intact (and you had ascertained that by checking with water) and in place, there is no risk of HIV infection at all whatosever.
Best wishes,
José
