Dr. Séan CummingsMBBS, DRCOG, DFFP, LLM, MRCGP Séan qualified in 1986 at University College London. He has very wide experience working in Paediatrics; Obstetrics and Gyanecology; Accident Emergency Medicine and General Medicine. He became a GP in 1990. He set up Freedomhealth in 1997 as a small private practice. It has grown exponentially since. Séan’s main interests are in Sexual Health and also careful reconstructive aesthetics for patients with facial wasting due to disease such as HIV or cancers. With over 20 years of experience in medicine he is convinced that a very personal approach is the key to a good doctor-patient relationship. Séan is also a Trustee of SohoBoys, a Charity designed to assist men and boys employed in the Sex Worker sector in London. In addition he is on the Medical Advisory Group of “Amora” the permanent Sexual Health and Function Exhibition at London’s Trocadero. |

Lee GarrettRN BSc Lee has been working at Freedomhealth since 2002, initially in the capacity of Aesthetician, having previously worked within the hair and beauty industry for 14 years where he acquired his aesthetic eye. Whilst working at Freedomhealth, Lee has successfully completed a degree in Adult Nursing and is now fully qualified as an Aesthetic Nurse. Lee specialises in laser aesthetics, (e.g. acne scarring, facial rejuvenation) dermal fillers and facial reconstructing, anti winkle treatments and is very passionate about the latest technology in Aesthetic Medicine. |

Dr José González-GarcíaMBBS, LMS, MRCP, DRCOG, DCH, T (GP), FFPHM, PhD José qualified as a medical doctor in 1991 at the Universities of Aachen, in Germany, and Oviedo, in Spain. In 1993 he moved to London, where he completed his post-graduate training, becoming a GP in 1999. During this time, he obtained the Diploma of Child Health, the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians. José has always been involved in research and has published several scientific papers. He also has a PhD in cancer research. In 2005 he completed an MSc in Public Health & Infectious Diseases, field that has now become one of his main clinical interests. Due to this wide experience, he has worked for different international organisations as a medical advisor and has travelled all over the world. José is fluent in Spanish, German, French and Italian. |

Dr Mervyn TyrerMB BCh(Wits) Dip in HIV Medicine Mervyn qualified as a Medical Doctor in 1989 at the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa. In 1994 he moved to London where he joined The Royal Free Hospital in London as a Senior House Officer working within the HIV and Thoracic medicine department. In 2003 Mervyn successfully gained a Diploma in HIV Medicine and became an Associate Specialist at the Royal Free Hospital within the Department of HIV, infection and Immunity. Additionally Mervyn is a General Practitioner at the Royal Free with a wealth of experience in General Practice and Minor Surgery. |

Dr Mike YouleB Med Sci, MB ChB After qualifying at Sheffield Medical School, UK, Dr Mike Youle helped found the world-renowned Kobler Clinic in London in 1986 as Head of Clinical Trials. Other than a 1-year stint working as a Consultant for the World Health Organization’s Global Programme on AIDS and the National Programme on AIDS in Kampala, Dr Youle has devoted his entire career to the clinical care of HIV patients. Since 1996 he has been the Director of HIV Clinical Research at London’s Royal Free Hospital as well as an Honorary Senior Lecturer in General Medicine at its associated medical school. His numerous professional activities currently include a visiting professorship for Belgrade University and board/committee memberships for organizations such as the British HIV Association and the MANON Therapeutic Vaccine Programme. Dr Youle also serves as a trustee of the Red Hot AIDS Charitable Trust and the National AIDS Manual, as well as medical advisor to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. He has recently founded an educational not-for profit organisation, the HIV Training and Resource Initiative; www.hivtri.com. |

Dr Greg BattleMBBS DRCOG MSc Greg Qualified in Medicine from University College London in 1986. Initially specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology he began working at UCH. He then worked for 2 years at the Royal Free Hospital working in General Medicine, Paediatrics, Accident and Emergency and Geriatric Medicine. Following this he took time out from GP training to obtain a masters in Public Health from Trinity College Dublin after which he worked for the Irish Government in Sudan. Completing his GP Training in London in 1993 He has worked as a GP partner in Islington for 15 years. During this time he has also taught students at UCL, worked in the Psychiatry of HIV at the Royal Free Hospital and been extensively involved in leadership in Islington PCT. He combines his work at Freedom Health with his NHS practice in Islington. |

Dr Fiona BoagDr Fiona Boag has been Consultant in HIV and GUM at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital since 1991. She has a particular interest in Women's Services and also antibiotic resistance in genito-urinary infections. She joins Freedomhealth as part of its Medical Advisory Panel and will participate in monitoring quality and standards within Freedomhealth's rapidly growing private STD / GUM clinic. |

Christopher Collister, RNChristopher currently manages HIV nursing services at St Mary’s Hospital in London, caring for over 2,500 patients. He has 10 years qualified experience working in HIV in various settings within the NHS and is currently completing a Masters degree in Health Care Law and Ethics. Within his role, a large part of his clinical case-load is providing “New-fill” treatment to patients who have experienced facial lipoatrophy as a result of HIV and its treatments. He has a wide range of experience in this field, treating patients with varying degrees of facial wasting with patients reporting 100% satisfaction with their treatment results. Christopher is also qualified to use “NewFill”, which is known as Sculptura within the aesthetics industry as an aesthetic ‘filler’ in anyone that is looking to reduce the appearance of lines and/ or ageing. |

Lisa WoodLisa Wood joins Freedomhealth as our Practice Manager. Having worked within Private Practice for over four years and previously within hotel management for many years, Lisa brings with her a wealth of experience in customer service and general management skills.
